Chronic Fatigue Syndrome caused by a navel piercing?

Does it sound logical?

I've pierced my navel a year ago, after that i felt weak, exhausted most of the time.
i started developing insomnia, severe anxiousness, and clinical depression.
yesterday i finally realized it might be the cause b/c of the time-line, so i got the damn thing out, and felt A LOT better after a couple of minutes.

i had a little research on the internet and it seems like the disease that best describes my condition is CFS.
so my question is,

Does it sound reasonable to have CFS b/c of a navel ring?

please, don't be so sure to turn down my thought if it's very rare.
it doesn't mean its impossible, right?

I honestly believe that your body is much much smarter than your brain. I know, your brain is going, "nah, this can't be" but your body is telling you something! Listen to your body!!!
It looks like the metal whatever it is, is something that your body is reacting to. CFS is adrenal fatigue. You have adrenal fatigue now, because you had your adrenaline pumping out to get OUT whatever toxin was introduced into your body. Don't worry. In about 8 weeks you will be good as gold.
Don't listen to people that are telling you that you are wrong! As if they know your body better than you do. YEAH RIGHT.
I am glad that you are feeling better. But heed the warning: your body does NOT like metals.

though i have not heard of the pierce as a direct cause, you contact many infections that you may be experiencing symptoms of. i'll tell you a little secret (lol). if you find it in your heart to be a blood donor. go to your local red cross and do so. the blood is screened for many potential infections. your symptoms may be totally unrelated to the piercing but not , as you say, impossible. you only get one body, learn to cherish it and take good care of it. you'll need it for a while. hope this will help.
