Clinical trials career?

How can I go from academic research to getting a job in the clinical trials in the UK? Do many CROs offer traineeships for CRAs or CT monitors?

Hello,

(ANS) I think if you have academic research in, or about pharmaceuticals, or drug research, or another close medical area then you might well have a reasonable chance of moving from academia into trials. Even more so if you have a degree in a related or relevant area.
