Can a person who is having a clinical trial study at M.D. Anderson be treated at a facility closer to home?

can a person who is going through a clinical trial study seeing a doctor at m d anderson be treated at a facility closer to home?

Why don't you ask them?

It probably depends on the type of treatment. If you are getting some experimental drug or something, I'd think not because they probably only have it a MD Anderson. It they are just following your progress and no special tests need to be performed, then possibly.

You can't do anything that would scew the trial's outcome, so I would think no. You have to be treated where the trial is being conducted.

Ask MD Anderson.

I've been in a trial in a foreign country for seven years, mailing in scans and reports.
