I need a fast way to get rid of cold sores? |
I hate cold sores! They look so horrible! I need a fast way to get rid of cold sores without a prescription. Maybe a home remedy. Help! I have always used alcohol and i am not talking jack, pure alcohol will dry it up and it usually goes away within a day if used all the time. apply with Q-tip and keep it dry. If it gets wet it will kep getting bigger and bigger. I get at least three a year and can tell when they are coming and i use alcohol as soon as the first little bump pops up. Get Lysine from a health food store. Personally I take 2000mg when I feel one coming on, twice a day and then the cold sore goes away and no one ever know I had one. I started out taking a smaller dosage, but not much happened, that much clears it right up for me. In the vitamin section; get L-Lysine take as directed as soon as you feel the tingling of a cold sore. It stops it from growing. Abreva is over-the-counter and works wonders! Placing an ice cube on the the site of the cold sore when it first starts to come up helps as well. The severe cold hinders it's growth. Lysine-L is an enzyme that works very fast on any kind of mouth sores....get in the vitamin section....good luck! Buy some abreva or blistex. |
