I have a HUGE cold!!! What's the best way to get rid of a cold in 1 or 2 days?

I've had this cold for 3 days already. I have a stuffy nose, a bad headache and a sore throat. I also keep sneezing and coughing my guts out. Any advice?

p.s- I need help A.S.A.P

Zicam - the one you swab in your nose - you should really start at the very begining of your cold, but it will help anyway.

Don't get the one that sprays in your nose - it's bad for you.

You know the problem with people they think they have a cold when what your describing sounds like allergies. Sinus infections cause headaches and stuffy nose and that should be treated with either an antibiotic or an allergy pill. If you constantly have these symptoms like off and on through out the year then it is a chronic condition of some sort of allergies that needs to be treated. One exception if u constantly have this problem some people have to have surgery on their sinuses.

Who ever came up with the word cold is beyond me.

My theory: People either have allergies, upper respiratory infections and or sinus infection,a stomach or intestinal virus, the flu or pneumonia and not a cold.

Allergies are similar to the symptoms that you have. and so is an upper respiratory infection.

A Stomach or intestinal virus is associated with pain and diarrhea. A lot of doctors prescribe anti biotics too frequently for a stomach or intestinal virus which usually goes away in two to three days. If it doesn't go away in two to three days than a doctor should be seen.

The Flu associated with aches and pain all over the body and sometimes stomach pain and vomiting also known as emesis in the medical field. It all goes away on it's own with ginger ale and sipping hot chicken broth. If any of these symptoms last more than 3-5 days than a doctor should be seen. (there is something in the chicken's skin that

Pneumonia real bad trouble breathing that needs medication.

Upper respiratory infection this is what they "the medical community" call a cold but to me it is not a cold it is an upper respiratory infection. Which is what you could also have.

Hope you are feeling better.
