Why are my teeth hurting when i drink cold liquids? |
What's happening? Should i go to the dentist? Had filling there months ago I would go to your dentist just to make sure you don't have any problems with your teeth, but chances are there is nothing to worry about. Your teeth are probably just sensitive to cold which is a completely normal thing. You can buy some sensitivity toothpastes at your local WalMart, Target, etc. They will help decrease the sinsitivity in your teeth. It could be a cavity or something like that, but most likely it's that your teeth are sensitive. Could be a cavity, though it's also possible that if you brush hard or wrong you might have a little bit of gum receding, that can expose nerves of the teeth normally under the gums to the cold water. It is probably just teeth sensitivity. I have it. At times they will really hurt and all you really need to do is find a good sensitive toothpaste. It helps a lot. If that doesn't help then I suggest going to the dentist to see what's up. yes go to the dentist, you may have a small cavity or crack in a tooth that is letting the cold go to the nerve in the tooth, causing a pain. You are developing sensitive teeth. Millions of people have this problem. Try brushing with a toothpaste made for sensitive teeth like Sensidine. Worked for me. You might have cavities. The coldness is hitting the nerves. your teeth are sensitive. try toothpaste for sensitive teeth such as sensodyne. yes you most likely have a cavity which causes sensitivity to certain things most often to hot or cold drinks as well as sweets its probably a cavity or your enamle is wearing down but yea you should go to the dentist just to make sure and so it doesnt get worse :] Its either a cavity or your teeth are really sensitive (then you need to get special toothpaste) They are probably sensitive, and yes go to the dentist. I would mention it at your next dental appointment. Use a straw and that should relieve the pain. Its probably because you have a cavity or a tooth ack. That happened to me. But then it went away after a little while, When I mean little while I mean like 3 days. probably a cavity. that or its cold you have sensitive teeth and your gum's felt the discomfort of course you should go to the dentist you might even have a cavity! Your teeth are sensitive..just brush with sensodyne yes, and if you wait to long it might get worse....like root canal |
