Is it healthier to shower in COLD WATER or HOT WATER?

I'm used to hot/warm water but I've been taking some fairly cold showers lately and that's fine. So just wondering if it matters. Might be a weird question. LOL.

Too hot water is drying to the skin. A comfortably warm shower followed by a cool rinse (to close the pores) is good.

It doesn't matter. Cold showers are better for you as they open and close your pores and help your skin keep itself clean also hot showers raise your blood pressure and can make you feel nautious which isn't good. Cold showers are very comfortable but neither are hot showers. Id suggest having warm showers but its not going to do you any harm having a hot/cold shower it's just personal preference

doesn't really make a difference unless you have an underlying condition. hot water will increase your blood pressure and open up your pores more, while cold water does the opposite. so for instance if you already have hypertension you might want to skip the hot shower

Warm soapy water kills more germs than cold water and soap...to get really clean, you at least need the water warm.....how warm or cool is personal preference...personally, really hot water dries out my skin, and using cold water makes me feel like I didn't get clean...
All IMHO...

the only thing i know about that, is it is better for your hair to rinse it in cold water.. as far as your skin, im not sure. either way, wash with warmer water initially so you can be sure to get clean.

Hot water first and then changing it to cold is good for you...I've heard of the Russians coming out of hot baths or saunas and going and rolling in the snow!

the season is changing so if you don't want to get sick I suggest taking warm showers.
