Is it better to soak a sore foot/ankle in hot or cold water? |
My foot and ankle have been sore for about a week now, I went to have x rays taken and the doc says everything looks normal. Would it help me more if I were to soak my foot in hot water or ice water? Or maybe just in a bucket of ice? Thank You for any help. I broke my big toe last week - and most of my foot is still rather bruised - and I dont know what the "official" advice would be, but I could tell ya from experience that a warm bath helps a lot. Maybe some epsom salts if you had them would help too. try any one of these remedies: cold water with some ice in a bucket |
