After already having had a cold , how long until a person can catch a cold again ? |
Doesnt your body build a resistance ? I had a cold like 10 days ago and now I feel like I am catching another one. How long until a person can catch a cold again ? there are at least 60 known viruses that can cause cold symptoms, the one you had you are resistant to...but that doesn't mean you can't get another one. You need to be a great deal more careful about your hygiene, because hand to mouth or face is how people catch colds. Carry hand sanitizer with you and use it every time you touch a public surface, like door handles, shopping cart handles, public toilet facilities, and public transit vehicles, money handling too, all these surfaces carry a great many viruses. It just depends on how bad a cold you have and how well you take care of yourself. I had a cold over the winter that lasted a month!! I haven't had one since though **Knocks on Wood** You can catch them back to back. |
