you cannot get rid of cold sores, you can try to prevent them. Its due to stress & its difficult in now a days to get rid of stress. It will take a week to 10 days to naturally go away & no medication will help for it to go quickly. You can prevent it from getting infected by taking antibiotics & applying antiseptic cream & taking B complex.

Cold sores can last up to one week to two weeks. They are annoying and painful. There are plenty of things that can cause them such as bacterial,viral of fungal infections. They are actually from the Herpies Virus and there is no cure for any virus. The sores will heal in a matter of a week or so but the virus will always be there in a dormant stage; probably to return again and again due to things like stress, chocolate, and probably others so do your homework.

they say 12 days.... or nine im not sure.... i mix up these things alot but getting a colsore cream makes it go away faster and if you put it on a soon as you feel a tingle them it might never fully.....grow or however you put it, aply every four hours I think it says on them....
you can use TCP or any antseptic stuff or perfume too but the sting!!!! still helps and after the sting is gone it actually feels less gross and sore
