How do you rid of a cold? Soothing drinks like honey and lemon, your usual pain killers like aspirin, paracetamol, light nourishing food, soup, toast scrambled egg, keep away from other people if you can especially crowded places, that's how you pick up the secondary infections that go on and on, nice warm bath, go to bed with a good book, some music and a bin or something to put wet tissues in. Nothing will get rid of it, it will clear up on it's own in a few days time. But to reduce your symptoms... Im sorry to hear you don't feel well. I find that honey and a squeeze or two of lemon added with some warm water will help you. Things like soup or rice pudding, hot chocolate or a cuppa can always help! stick to warm things and liquid! i have been in bed for the past three days with flu. Today is my first day where i am starting to feel like a human again! :-) antibiotics. Get a prescription. Though youll likely just have to tough it out. Sorry. |
