Will pouring peroxide in your ear cure the common cold? |
I have read that pouring a couple drops of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide will cure a cold... is this true? Does anyone know of any good remedies? Thanks! NO, hydrogen peroxide will NOT cure the common cold. In fact, it only kills about 30% of the germs in your mouth and damages tissue in the process. Dentists use this and it is NOT a good sanitizer for how they use it. No, pouring it in your ear will help your ears out though. My husband does it when he gets a headache in his sinuses and it works very well. I doubt it. Peroxide is meant to kill bacteria, but not intended to cure the common cold. There is no cure for the cold. |
