What are some soft cold foods you can eat after getting teeth extracted? |
I got 2 back teeth extracted yesterday and while the after surgery instructions say to eat soft foods the dentist specified eating COLD soft foods for the first 2 days or so. I'm already tired of jello and pudding, does anybody have any other suggestions on soft cold foods to eat that actually fill you up a bit more than jello? Have a chilled soup like viccycoise, or make chilled fruit soup by pureeing fruits together. gazpacho, borscht, pudding, applesauce, ice cream, frozen yogurt, jello (yuck), let your grits cool off... How about stuff like apple sauce, canned fruit, yogurt, fruit smoothies, soggy cereal in milk, tuna salad, or chicken salad. Baby food. Seriously. Especially the fruits and desserts. Pureed meats and veggies are icky. You could make some oatmeal and eat it cold, or add extra milk and drink it. I ate a lot of yogurt apple sause, ice cream, yogurt Ice cream. Apple sauce, ice cream, or....string cheese? |
