How does the cold test given by your dentist work? |
I recently got headbutted in the mouth playing football and knocked a few of my teeth out of place. My dentist placed stints in my teeth to hold them in place after he straightened them. 2 days later he gave me a cold test to check if any of my teeth that got hit were dead. The results of the test showed that 3 of my teeth were 100 percent dead. How did he know that using the cold test? If the teeth were alive, you would have felt the intense coldness. That's how they check for living nerves in teeth. |
