Are people that rush to their Doctor for minor occurrences such as colds, sore throats, or ear aches...?

driving up the cost of health care?

Not as much as the dirt bags lawyers and insurance companies.
The people that truely drive up the cost of health care are those that are uninsured. The ones that rush in usually have health care coverage.
Yeah, my sister goes for every little ache and pain....damn hypochondriac.
no, it is more like the people that sue doctors for millions of dollars....but of course that is the only way to take a stab at a hospital
Chapaton is right. Those uninsured people also use Ambulances like they're taxis and ER's like they're a clinic. Those people put strain on EMS systems and cause seriously injured or ill people to wait for an ambulance. While I have to go take someone who stubbed a toe 2 weeks ago to the hospital, someone in cardiac arrest is going to have to wait for a 2nd Ambulance to show up because I'm busy taking care of BS.
EMT
