Cold sores?

i have two little, white painful blisters on my lip. could these be cold sores?

Probably are. Gargle with warm salt water. That will alleviate them.
Yes they COULD be. If they are, don't kiss anyone until they have healed as you can spread the virus.
If they don't heal in around 10 days or so, go and see your GP

If in the UK you can buy 'over-the-counter' creams for cold sores. There's one called ZOVIRAX. Just ask the pharmacist they'll get it for you.
If not in the UK - then still go to your pharmacy and ask - I'm sure they'll have something.

Sounds like it. i suffer from coldsores bad and weather and stress can be factors. I used all the over the counter remedies but none work. get some haemmoroid cream for them and I guarantee they'll be gone asap. It sounds wrong but, think about it. It's an anti inflammatory and an anaesthetic, if it can redice the swelling and pain in a haemmoroid then a little old coldsore doesn't stand a chance. If you don't have any right now, dab a little honey on them, it stops the itch and eases the pain for a little while. Don't be tempted to put aftershave/perfume on them.
