Cold sore??

developed a really bad cold sore on the corner of my mouth, i put vitamin e on it but dont think thats really working, also tried toothpase but that totally dried it out..any help how to get rid of it?

Get some of the tooth ache cream in the little tubes and rub it in moderation on the area. Worked great for me! You can get it for around 2 dollars at walgreens.
You can get some l-Lysine cream for it from your local health food store and some l-Lysine pills. You should not take them for more than 2 weeks, even though it is an amino acid .
Yes, Lysine cream might help and they now make the patch you can wear over the cold sore at night to help get rid of it. Most cold sore meds work best if you apply it just before the actual break out. Some people can feel a tingle in the area just before and that is the time to begin treatment.

Sort of expensive (US $15), both worth every penny. It will make 3 weeks of agony a week or less of inconvenience. Make sure to put it on at any sign of outbreak (itching, tingling) and keep putting it on until it stops, this prevents it 90% of the time. If the sore has already started keep putting it on until the scab starts building. It wont stop it if its already coming out but it will speed the process up ten fold. All the phases are still there they just last a much shorter time. In my opinion as a sometimes sufferer, and someone who has to speak in public, this is a miracle drug.
