Stubborn cold sore!!!? |
I've had a cold sore on my lip since Saturday morning and it's now Wednesday and it doesn't seem to be drying up. I am using cold sore cream (I can't spell it zovirax) Anyway, it says it'll take the cold sore away in 5 days but if it's not gone use for 10 days. I had a cold sores in January and that took 2 weeks to heal. Why are my cold sore so stubborn? I used to suffer really bad with cold sores and spent a fortune on Zovirax before finding my miracle cure! Boots the Chemist do a little bottle of cold sore lotion (clear watery stuff) which has alcohol in it to dry up the cold sore. I usually start using it straight away and the cold sore is gone within 2 days. If there is a bit of broken skin on your lip it will sting a tiny bit but its well worth the sting when the cold sore disappears. It only costs about 拢1.50 and i promise you it will work! What Chinese said is HEATY-NESS! your liver is heaty! you need to cool it down. take a glass of bitter-gourd juice with one tablespoon of honey. Or you can take more watermelon. Especially when the weather is turning cool! Unfortunately, ten days is not particularly unusual for a cold sore. You're only supposed to use Zovirax every four hours (I think) so inbetween times use Nelson's Hypercal. It's fantastic stuff. Use it on any sore or rash-like thing. I get cold sores when I'm stressed/under the weather and they take ages to go. I haven't tried Zovirax, I use Blistease (not sure if I spelt that right) and up my Vit C intake, seems to speed up the process. You might need to go to the doc's though if it's that bad hon. Good luck! Aftershave/perfume. Stings a bit though apparantly. |
