Is the cold numbing and severe pain I have in my left hip a sign of somekind of fracture?


I am in severe pain but with this I have a cold numb feeling down my left hip and leg? Would a xray show if it were a mild fracture.

sciatica. lay down with the affected side up, take ibuprophen, and use ice packs. do not sit down as this may aggravate it. i am speaking from experience. i spent about 3 weeks in pain and got this course of treatment from an anesthisiologist that i know. it did help.
An x-ray would show a fracture, but the cold numb feeling almost sounds like a nerve problem, but I would go see a doctor and get it checked out.
Sounds like sciatica,which is a nerve problem.Best to get it checked by your doctor.
