What should I do? i have really cold hands and feet and i can never seem to warm them up!?

Im always wearing socks to bed coz i cant sleep with cold feet and the electricity bill is getting expensive coz i sleep with electric blanket on all nite just so my hands and feet arent cold? wat are the other alternatives to warm up rather than wearing socks and gloves all the time?

You don't give your age. My personal experience w/ the severe cold hands/feet syndrome was that it was purely related to exercise. You need to get your circulation moving - walk, run, jog - lift some light weights. Try using one of those stress balls for your hands. And take a good multivitamin with iron.
you may have a circulation problem, you might want to see a doctor, especially if it gets worse. also, try taking an NSAID ( Non Steroidal Anti Inflammitory Drug ) like motrin or aleve before bed as this will help blood circulate therefore helping keep your extremities warm
Hi Dear,
I'm a doctor.i think you have what's called Raynaud's disease.u have to consult your physician ,he may prescribe you some drugs that could help.
Drink something warm before you go to bed, like hot chocolate. And use a hot water bottle, trust me it works!
My mom had the same problem in her left hand. She use to always wear a glove, even in the summer. We recently found out that it was from a circulation problem, a blood clot. She has since had it removed and the cold sensations have stopped. I'm not saying that is what you have but poor circulation warrents a trip to the doctor to find the problem before it turns into something serious. All these years (10+) her body was warning her something was wrong, and it took her having a stroke to figure it out.
If you drink coffee or other caffeinated drinks try to cut them out. My boyfriend used to have cold feet all the time and when he stopped drinking coffee they finally warmed up. You might get some withdrawel headaches for a week or so but they go away once your body is detoxed. Also smoking might contribute to it.
Hello. You really should not look for the answer here. Get to a doctor today or at the very least call them and set up an appointment. NOW get calling!
