Why do most of us catch cold if drenched?

Why do most of us catch cold if drenched?

I dont think thats necessarly true. I think you could catch a cold if you do not get enough sleep and do not drink enough water and are around some one who is sick. Hope That Helped=)
A cold is a virus. You can't catch a cold from being drenched.
????????????

You probably shower daily, if not at least several times a week.

Colds are caused by viruses, not by being wet.

Ironically, it's washing your hands (another "wet" thing) that prevents colds the best.
Should a person " think" that they caught a cold from being drenched, then they have fallen into an "old wives' tale". If a person has been exposed to a cold, it can take 2-3 days for the symptoms to appear and, then they claim or believe it happened because they got caught in a rainstorm, etc. Definitely, not a fact.

Cold viruses are always around so, if your immune system is compromised in any way, they attack & are able to reproduce quickly.
