Can Teens (15-19) get Colon Cancer? |
im only 16. They can, but it is very rare and is usually caused by a rare hereditary type of colon cancer, which you would know if you had it and you would not be the first in your family to have it. Every cancer is a different disease and you cannot compare one type with another. It is not common for teenagers to get cancer at all, but when they do leukemia is the most common. Yes they can. I have APL leukemia and I'm 16, so a teenager can definitely get any other type of cancer. I really hope you don't have it. Take care, hun. =) Definitely get it checked out. I lost a friend to Colon Cancer and she was only 24 years old :( this was back in 2006. Better detected early then sorry. I wish you the best. |
