Someone having been just diagnosed with colon and liver cancer..is there anyone out there that? |
has experienced this? We are from Texas. Is MD Anderson Hospital in Houston the best or can someone tell us where is the best place to go and it does not have to be in Texas There are many great places to go the resource below has some great places listed. Source(s): http://www.cancertutor.com/ I'm assuming that this is Colon cancer primary site, with mets to the liver, since cancer rarely start in the liver. I would check out "Cancer treatment centers of America". I think there is one in Texas. If you are up to traveling, I live in the northeast where the best medicine is practiced. Brigham and Womens, Tufts, Harvard. good luck. No; however I believe in prayer and I will pray for your recovery. Just a note........ my mom had colon cancer back in the late 1970s, in her 40s, and she is still here. I was little, but it seems like they removed over half of her colon? It took awhile for her body to reorganize itself, but life did get back to "normal" eventually. Also, if you haven't ever heard of Tahitian Noni Juice, I suggest you might look into it's benefits. It is 100% natural. It is the only brand of NONI juice listed in the Physician's Desk Reference with no known negative side effects. The idea behind this is it may help the body help itself, rid itself of toxins.... www.tni.com (The FDA has it listed as a "Food Product" so even if it DOES help whatever.. it would be illegal to SAY that it does.... even if it could be proven.) Blessings to you and yours. Oh, and everything is BIGGER & BETTER in Texas. :) The Mayo Clinic or Sloan Kettering. Sloan Kettering has the most top notch cancer staff. Both colon and liver cancer are remissable. I say remissable because there is no actual "cure" for cancer, chemo and radiation kill the cells but they can always come back. My father has a friend who has had colon, liver, and bladder cancer and is just a person who lives with cancer just as you would with asthma or any illness, he goes for maintenance chemo to keep it remissable. Good luck |
