I was injected with the contraception pill over 2 years ago. Cannot lose the weight!!I?

My family planning clinic advised me to have the pill injection. Kept bleeding though and became aneamic so was put on the pill and had the injections every 8 weeks instead of 12 to stop the bleeding. I have put on 2 stones. Even though my last injection was over 2 years a go, I cannot get rid of the weight. Has anyone else been affected like this???

I have met other women that this has happened to. This could also be an indication of a problem like a hormone imbalance such as with the thyroid (an example only).

I would recommend getting in touch with your primary care physician so that they can evaluate the situation further to see what they think could be going on.
