Contraception Pill Can It Cause Infertillity!? |
Oka, Ive been on the pill since i was 14years old and im now nearly 18. Ive never had a break from it in those four years. Now im worried that my ovz have frozen and i may be infertile. Of corse im not thinking about children now but in the future i would like one. How can i find out, Is the doctor the only way and whats the chances of it!? I have the same worries. I have been on the pill for going on 12 years and am scared I won't be able to have a child. I haven't heard of it causing infertility, but if this is a serious fear of yours, talk to you doctor. If there is a risk, you can discuss other options, maybe even an operation or something so they can keep some of your eggs in a storage bank, so in case if ever happens, you still have some little you-genes to pass along. [= hope it doesn't come to that, best of luck! i recently went through natural family planning and i dont think i causes infertility but it might make it harder to get pregnant depending how long you have been on it. i would probably ask a doctor for some reassurance They advise you to use for certain amount of time and stop for a while. But i don't think you would become sterile!!! |
