DOES MOVICOL INTERFERE WITH MY 21 DAY PILL CONTRACEPTION? Help!? |
DOES MOVICOL INTERFERE WITH MY 21 DAY PILL CONTRACEPTION? Help! (birth control pills) Movicol is a laxative. Taking laxatives can prevent your pill from being absorbed - basically by moving it through you too fast to be effective. No it will not. To be on the safe side take it 3 hours after you take the pill, this will ensure the pill has been absorbed in case you get an upset stomach. Mild upset stomach should not interfere with the pill anyway, but I always er on the side of caution. |
