How do you believe that contraception is the best answer to the problem on overpopulation?

Disease is the best answer to the problem of overpopulation, that and NOT sending aid to famine-stricken areas.

Contraception prevents people from having babies who don't really want them or can't afford them. The countries where overpopulation is the biggest problem are also the countries where contraception is the least available. If everyone had access to contraception, only responsible people who really wanted children would have babies. End of problem.

I honestly believe we should do as china , after 2 kids , ppl get sterile or snipped ... keeps population down and helps with stop as much hunger, less ppl less ppl to feed... i think it would help the economy as well, less ppl claiming welfare who don't need and keep reproducing when they cant take care of themselves ,... in the end alot of things would be benefited if people we allowed 2 children each .. if you want more ADOPT!

Yes it's true that only abstinence, and sterilization for that matter are the only 100% reliable forms of birth control. However it is quite impractical when one is married.

Well, considering people are unlikely to stop having sex, what other options are there exactly? Colonizing another planet isn't technically doable at this time, and killing extra people after the fact would be wrong. Is there a choice I'm forgetting?

it isn't mass disease and genocide are the best solutions. if all else fails we should ship volunteers to colonise the moon.
