What & where can I get rat contraception pills?

I'm searching for a temporarily way to avoid my pet rat having babies.
Are there any contraceptive pills for pet rats? If yes, where can I find it?

Law L, I really can't see why we couldn't control their hormones chemically. There existe for dogs, cats, pigeons... so why not rats?

There is no contraceptive pill for rats, and I wouldn't trust any of these home remedies. I'm sure in a lab they could do it, but there is no way just anyone is going to be able to do this, plus there really is no reason to. If you don't want babies just keep any males away from her, it's that simple.

The only way is to keep them away from the opposite sex or get the male neuteured- it's that simple.

There is no pill for rats for conception because it's not like humans who have the CHOICE to sleep with people or not- rats don't have that choice and therefore don't have pills to prevent anything unwanted. If there's a rat of the opposite gender- they will hump it. They shouldn't be near rats of the other gender unless they're neutured or you're a professional breeder.

There's no contraceptive pills for rats and no 'old time remedy' will work. The only way is to keep them separated by sex or to neuter/spay.
