Does emergency contraception have emotional side effects? |
Has anyone else experienced weepiness, depression, sadness, or irritability after taking the morning-after pill? Emergency contraception is simply a mega-dose of hormones. What you are experiencing is completely normal. I've never had that problem. YES I did. Actually for the day and kinda the next day. I just felt very out of it, I felt weepiness, depression/sadness, and irritability all at the same time! haha it sucked. I think its a side effect from the pill or something because it went away a couple of days after and I know it couldn't have been from the whole situation. It could be. Those aren't listed on the side effects, but you never know. You are basically taking two doses of hormones- same as given in birth control pills. That is enough to make a womens body go a little nuts. If your symptoms don't go away within a week please call your doctor as it may be something else. Carl S has proved himself to be a moron! He has posted questions about a pregnant gf who was refusing to abort, later posted again saying they were having the baby! Now saying that she took an abortion pill. He's a troll! My GF had a pill abortion and it was no problem. Did ur abortion make u bleed alot it did to her and she didn't wanna give it up for a while, but I got her to anyway. it leads to depression , in your previous question yu look like nympho manic ,consult a psychiatrist |
