the other answer there was quite cruel do not pay him any attention. if you cant find anyone online. try a journal and write down all your feelings. and be very honest with it. my daughter turned hers into music and poems. remember there is always tommorow. you are young and have a whole lifetime of experiences good and bad.

The first step to getting appropriate treatment, for depression or any emotional problem, is a complete psychological evaluation to determine whether you have a depressive illness, and if so, what type of depression. Consultation with a psychologist will include a review of your physical health history. Some medications as well as some medical conditions can cause symptoms of depression, so your psychologist will ask your family physician to rule out these possibilities if other physical symptoms are evident.

Lastly, the psychological diagnostic evaluation will include a mental status examination to assess the full range of psychological symptoms and problems. This will help identify any other psychological problems that might be present, and will help determine the most appropriate treatment for you.

Treatment choice will depend on the outcome of the evaluation. Most people do well with psychotherapy, but some require treatment with antidepressants in addition to psychotherapy. Medication can allow you to to gain relatively quick symptom relief, if you are experiencing severe and disabling symptoms. However, medication does not "cure" the depression, it only treats the symptoms. If you are depressed, you need psychotherapy to help you to learn more effective ways to deal with life's problems, and to change the negative thoughts and attitudes that have caused you to develop depression.

i went through the same stuff back when i was 15 and even younger.

i really suggest counseling, and hopefully you get a counselor that you like. when you have a counselor you like it makes talking about your problems a lot easier.

Self mutilation is a sign of wanting more control of your surrounds. Heres a chatroom http://www.bipolarworld.net/Community/si...

I've found the source below has over 500 support groups available to join. You might want to give it a try. Also check your local yellow pages under mental health or crisis hot line for more one on one treatment. Good luck.

I'm so sorry to hear that your going through that..i was too when i was your age. I'm 16 almost 17 and I just recently am getting it together..last year in December i was at the lowest of the low..i decided there was no reason to get out of bed so i didn't..i just stayed in bed all day crying..then i started praying and asking god to help and i truly believed, and i tell you this being honest..i have no reason to lie..he did give me a sign that would have been impossible. And he helped me when i was suicidal and i WAS going to kill myself. Now things are getting better, im on some medication and im seeing a psychologist (it takes trying a few differnt psychologists to find a good one!!) Im also exercising. Things are getting better and i pray every moment of the day that i need help and god helps me (even for little things). I would not be where i am today if i didnt pray and have god in my life. And i know everything happens for a reason..because if i didnt go through that deep depression i wouldnt have found god. The people like us who have been through alot that usually end up the nicest most mature and understanding people out there. Because we understand what its like when things go bad. But please pray i SWEAR that will help, but you need to try to believe as much as you can. Im really excited for you..because that moment that god shows you hes there and hears your prayers is the BEST moment in the world. No he wont appear, but he will show you in his own way. Maybe this message is gods way of showing you hes there for you. Again i believe everything happens for a reason..

hello, support forms can't help you only people around you can, read the email i sent you, xoxo.
