Depression/hair loss?

Is there a link between the two?
I've had depression for as long as I can remember, and my hair has always been thin (but recently falling out more than usual).
I'm not taking medication (I get allergic reactions to every one I've tried), so it couldnt be a side effect of this.

As a one time sufferer of deep depression i can say that my hair started to drop out at one side.thankfully it has grown back and does as you start to get better....i do hope you have sought help as for the cause of the main problem which is your depression...good luck

yes!

depression and stress are the leading reasons why ones body will go out of wack

I thought it was more stress related.
