How do you deal with depression when there is no one you can talk to?

i cry almost every night and i have no one to talk to my parents dont know this is going on

You need to tell your parents, a pastor or minister, a school counselor or call a teen hotline to get some specific people in your area that can help you. You will need to be evaluated for depression and also any other hormonal or chemical imbalances that you may have. Your parents will need to know so that they can help you. You may be surprised at how understanding your parents might be if you tell them exactly what's going on with you.

It may sound embarrassing, but your mental health is worth reaching out for.

Good luck,

Tex

You NEED to talk to someone!!!!!!!! I have had depression problems since I was REALLY young. The only thing that ever worked was finding someone to talk to. Try to get a therapist, one that's right for you and understands what you're going through. Also try medicine, it will stabilize the chemicals in your brain and help lower the effects of depression. If you don't talk to someone things will get bad. Just try.

Maybe you should talk to your parents? Sometimes they want to know if something wrong is going on with their child. Telling them you have this problem would be the first step to recovery. You shouldn't be embarrassed to tell them about it. I mean, I was, because me and my parents never talk but in the end I'm glad I did.

And not to sound too morbid, but I've heard from many parents of children who've committed suicide have said that they had no idea that their child was suffering and wished that their child had came to them. They have the power to get you the help you need.

If not, check to see if your neighborhood offers counceling by searching on the net or in the phone book, that's what I've done. Cheer up, and you should never go to someone else who has depression to help you because that never turns out good!

Stay away from sites where depressed people meet because they usually end up giving you really bad advice because they are depressed themselves. Best bet is to go to someone who has a healthy mind and you can trust!

Well the first thing you do is tell your parents, and ask your parents if you can see a Dr. If you can't do that talk to a counseler at school and see if she/he can help you. Don't go on like this depression is no fun, I have been there. Perhaps whoever you talk to can recommend a therapist who could help. There are medications that will help you, you just have to make sure that they are ok for teens.

I keep a journal. For me, I have found it to be more helpful than talking to other people anyway, because when I write I work things out in my head. I can cry and say whatever I want, even if it's the most ridiculous, preposterous nonsense and no one will judge me.
If you are seeking some sort of personal intervention, however, there's always the internet (which you seem to have found)...

i kind of know what you are talking about- i have an odd situation of my own where i can't really tell anyone about and it's making me confused and sad but sometimes really happy at the same time (i am going insane i swear but overall i am depressed- i asked a question about the situation if you wanna check it out) anyway writing a letter is a good idea- even if no one sees it except you, it is a good way to get out your feelings if you have no one to tell... I am not sure why you are depressed but perhaps for whatever the reason the letter thing can fix it?

i hope this helps and you can fix your problem =)

Try to talk to Jesus he is with you all the time and loves you and it always helps to know weather you want to hear this or not but for every person there is always someone worse off than you like the starving children in Africa or the little 2 year olds with cancer dying so cheer up and God Bless!!!
JESUS LOVES YOU SOOOO MUCH HE KNOWS EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU!!! here is something to cheer
you up!!!

I know what its like to feel like you can't talk to youe parents about certain things. But I suggest maybe talking to a school concilor or maybe a trusted friend.

That depends what type of depression you're talking about.
Could you further explain what kind of depression you are going through?

defiantly a trusted friend or ask your friend to get you some help if they do not then THEY ARE NO FRIEND AT ALL!!!

Why can't you talk to your parents? Where are your friends?
