How do i face depression?

I would recommend seeing a psychiatrist. Life does NOT have to hurt. Most people who have depression and get help for it do MUCH better.

Just some general tips though--

Remember, clinical depression is an illness, not just a mood you can combat. Don't let yourself feel like you have it because you're weak, or because you're not strong enough to "snap out of it". Try not to let it rule your life. Even if you don't feel like it, make yourself get out of bed every day at a normal time, take a shower, eat healthy meals, find a hobby, and get some exercise. If there is a day you feel particularly depressed, remind yourself that you have an illness and it doesn't have to entirely consume you. Just because the world FEELS like it's broken doesn't mean that it actually is. Compare it to physical illnesses. If a person with arthritis had a day that they hurt excessively, they would let themselves rest that day and hope they felt better tomorrow. It's just pain in some part of their body. Think of depression as a physical illness. It doesn't have to get into your mind and soul and attack; it's just an illness you have to deal with, like diabetes.

Those are just some tips that help me... sorry if it was confusing. But, most important, get psychiatric help.
