yes babes the side affects are that you feel yourself , carry on with them an dont worry, time to worry about it was when you had the depression ok tc be happy x

As far as I'm aware, escitalopram isn't associated with any long-term side-effects. If it was, it wouldn't be prescribed anywhere near as often as it is. Having said that, any kind of medication is essentially an ongoing trial, and is not without risk. It's up to you to decide whether you think the risks, which in this case are very small, even negligible, outweigh the benefits.

The National Institute of Mental Health has not issued any advice, warning, or even any findings, to the effect of long-term side effects to Escitalopram. There are short-term side effects to it. They vary from one person to another, and you would be the one to judge whether they are worth it for you to continue on that anti-depressant. It does have the reputation of having the mildest side-effects.

All medicines may cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects. Check with your doctor if any of these most COMMON side effects persist or become bothersome when using Escitalopram:
Constipation; decreased sexual desire or ability; diarrhea; dizziness; drowsiness; dry mouth; headache; increased sweating; lightheadedness when you stand or sit up; loss of appetite; nausea; stomach upset; tiredness; trouble sleeping.
Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur when using Escitalopram:
Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); bizarre behavior; black or bloody stools; chest pain; confusion; decreased concentration; fast or irregular heartbeat; hallucinations; memory loss; menstrual period changes; new or worsening agitation, panic attacks, aggressiveness, impulsiveness, irritability, hostility, exaggerated feeling of well-being, restlessness, or inability to sit still; persistent or severe ringing in the ears;persistent, painful erection; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin; seizures; severe or persistent anxiety or trouble sleeping; stomach pain; suicidal thoughts or attempts; tremor; unusual bruising or bleeding; unusual or severe mental or mood changes; vision changes; worsening of depression.
