Is is possible for someone to be very quiet their entirely life because they suffer from depression? It is possible that being quiet has caused some of the depression. When we are quiet, we are not letting our thoughts and feelings be known. This certainly can bring on depression. We may not even know what we think or feel because it is locked away inside of the quietness. The one's that don't talk much are usually the one's that hold the most in. They don't talk about anything that they are feeling and are more likely to committ suicide because they don't let anything out. But then they just might be shy. Try start a conversation with that person maybe they have alot to say and just don't have any one to talk to. be that person they can talk to. Of course, one of the symptoms of depression is no self worth...causing you to believe that anything you have to say means nothing to others...so you stay quiet, and don't want to burden others with it...I pray you're not the one, and if so, I pray that you find God and Jesus in your life They can cure anything...and bring you happiness for once in your life...God Bless little one.. This is what happened to me but I don't know which came first being quiet or the depression or which one is causing which. its possible, people are with drawn for many reasons topically from some kinda abuse. Well they can be, they might just be shy. |
