Are you taking alot of medication for depression/anxiety? |
Does it make you feel better Being depressed is not something you can help yourself with. It is an ilness and caused by a chemical imbalance, therefore I say antidepressant medication is very helpful. Feeling sad all the time, just because you do not want to take a pill, is like living an empty life. YES to both of your questions!!!! The way I see it, the world is over medicated. The thing to remember in this case is that not all medications work the same for all people, but they do work. They also don't work immediately. You take a tylenol for a headache, and your headache is usually gone within an hour. With antidepressants it can take two weeks to a month to see any improvement. If one antidepressant doesn't work for you, tell your doctor to try another. Sometimes they may simply need to up the dosage of the one you're already on, but if you don't get results be persistent until you find the one that's right for you. I don't think I'm taking a lot of pills...right now I'm on Cymbalta (90mg), Seroquel (900mg), Ativan (2mg), and Ambien (10mg)...I also take a super B vitamin and a "multivitamin" to take with my antidepressant. no I take nothing im a psychology student, and taking meds is not good thing. there's an alternative way except tking meds. What kind of depression, you should know first where it start and what cause of it, and what kind of anxiety it is. Seek a psychologist for better result. IM not taking anything. um... taking a lot of that kinda stuff can effect ur health. although beta that than being depressed, i guess. they tryed to give me those stupid pills but i refuse to be told only a drug can give me happiness. The world is full of things that could make anyone happy you just have to open your mind and stop thinking that your depressed I am currently taking five different pills for depression. yes it has made me feel better i take them for anxiety and it has helped me alot i am also going to start medication for depression In my opinion yes.....yo both, for now. Depression meds may need changing from time to time. No only effexor for me and works greatly :) Valium and its great! I'm on Prozac at present, but I find it helps my hubby more! the only thing that works for me is MM. lol |
