What is the best anxiety-depression medication?

and not because its the most expensive.

what is the best for someone who has 85% of the anxiety, and yet the remaining 15% of depression

thanks!
Dr. Wangsta
M.D.

celexa

I have been on Valium for years and it is the only thing that keeps me from having anxiety attacks, It also helps my depression its hard to believe but it seems like if Im having bad anxiety my depression is bad but if I keep my anxiety under control with the Valium Im ok, I have also learned that keeping your house well light up with the sun coming in helps also if I am in the house and its dark I get real depressed..

be careful with antidepressants with anxiety, some actually may worsen your anxiety,

paxil cr is typically used for anxiety/depression. insomnia. as long as it jives with your system,

wellbutrin and effexor might actually worsen your anxiety, so go to a prudent psychiatrist who knows what they are doing,

if you address depression, your anxiety may actually improve without an antianxiety, but it's all indiviualized

I can only tell you what I take: Lexapro + Wellbutrin. It is this mix that relieves both the depression and the anxiety. Any break-through anxiety (brought on by unusually stressful situation)is treated with Clonazepan. I hope this helps.
