Im 18 How Do I Deal With Stress and Depression? |
im and18 year old female and it seem like everyday i just wanna break down and cry but i cnt nd wen sumthin pushes me i start...its hard becuz i dnt really have neone to talk to and actually be heard....how can i deal with this becuz i hate it wen like my breathing gets heavy and it hurts for some reason everytime sumthing little happens i wann stop this before sumthing serious happens family...dnt have none most come n go....and my mother she isnt a talker she's a yeller and nothing i do is good she takes wat a say and hold it against me thats y i dnt tell her my problems and such...friends well there are 3 of them theyre triplets and attitudes are pretty much the same....and so basically im working with one person....and their way of taking in people problems is to not take them unless they know they are serious and if they thinks its just sumthing minor they dnt really show much attention niether the less wanna hear it...nd it seems like i cnt find sumone to listen to anything i have to say...so thats the reason i have no one to talk to seems like an anxiety attack as well, i am feeling a shi* load of depression hitting me slowly right now actually and im watching tv and on here to keep my mind off of it. i get anxiety ALOT and usually i cry because i get scared, but my grandma taught me when i feel one comming to inhale slowly to 10 and exhale the same, and ome green tea will also help along with a nice walk for like 10 minutes to get air. also i like to listen to music to get my mind off of stuff, or go to a counselor , they will listen. Go for a run. Any kind of exercise actually treats depression. Somthing to do with chemicals to the brain or whatever. But it really dose work. Do some kind of form of exercise. Maybe yoga if your stressed and over worked. For you breathing just take long slow deep breathes to calm yourself down. It kind of sounds like maybe some kind of anxiety attack or panic attack to me. Maybe some mild form of it possibly?? I could be wrong. But just take deep breaths. It should help. If it dosen't then consult a doctor about it. It could be somthing more serious. seems u have somehow completely alienated yourself and that is probably big reason for your stress anxiety, depression and more. family, friends are ppl in life that help us deal with these emotions when they creep up. granted some ppl don't get along with their family but friends r your own choice but u said u have no one to talk to. i would try to get back into that loop of family and friends. you might have some bad apples but most likely its a 2way misunderstanding. good luck Hi sweetie have you ever been diagnosed with depression. I am 34 and i was diagnosed 4yrs ago. I am married w/3 kids. The things you are going through sweetie I know how you feel I've been there. I struggle everyday with this but the first step is to see a doctor. That is the only way you will be on your way to some piece of mind. i go to the tanning bed to deal with stress . i just lay there and listen to music its like your in your own little world. i lovee it! well its simple you may not like it but talk to your parents(or any family ) say you just want them to listen nothing else (unless you want to go to see a doctor) that's what helped me listen to that alice cooper song "im eighteen". it will help you understand yourself call me ;) call a friend |
