How can someone deal with depression and suicidal feelings?


I am 16 years old, and I have severe depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and OCD. I am suicidal, have gone on Suicide Watch at a hospital, and have gone to a mental institution, all of which did not seem to help. I cut, and they continuously get deeper in an attempt to relieve the stress that I cannot otherwise relieve. It's not that I don't want to get better, it's just that I don't know how. All of my friends are no longer my friends because rumors were spread, and my dad verbally and mentally abuses me, and pushes my mom around. My dad is also off of work because he is not "mentally stable" enough to work, so he is always around the house. There seems to be no escape. If you have any ideas, I really need them right now, because the only answer seems to be to kill myself. I am smart, and I know it is "selfish and dumb and I will burn in Hell" but I need help. Please.

Its okay just find some friends or people you really like to talk to not about depression just hang out and be happy. It may be hard at first but I've done it. =)

Keep trying, don't give up. You said that you are smart. That's good because you have to appreciate yourself and find something that you are good at and do it. Just care for yourself. And also try to find supportive, nice people, because relationships are very important. Go outside more often. Have you tried to enjoy the nature, because I do think that it calms the psych?
I know that dealing with this is hard. Right now I am trying to stay positive and happy using my will power :(.

This type of therapy is supposed to be good for people in your situation. A friend of mine recommended it just today and I think it looks very interesting - very practical and useful as long as you have the motivation to do the exercises.
