Random moments of depression?

hey heyy. usually im an incredibly happy, positive person. think sunshine and smiles! :) everyone knows me as the person whos fun, nver down blah blah
anwayyy! for the past few months iv had a reallly down moment about once a week. its usually in the morning when im alone or in the shower, and i just break apart and cry heaps, feel incredibly empty inside and just ache all over with sadness..if that makes sense. these mood thingys only last about 5-10 minutes and then im sweet - dont know why i made such a big deal over it all.
there is something htat i think about that brings these moments on, and i dont really want to write about it here. i dont htink its really a big deal, but becomes a huge deal when im alone and i thnk about it. but once i get my little depressed moment out of the way im fine :S im asking about it because its not like im just upset, its a HUGE drop in my attitude and SERIOUSLYY upsets me

please dont suggest i talk to someone - there is noooo way in hell i could open up that much to someone infront of me

I take moments of deep depressions about things in the past, I had to eventually started to take medication for depression.
These moments of sadness can happen anywhere at anytime a store, in public. It seems to me you may be holding on to some baggage in the mind you have not fully talked about with a friend, close relative, and even a higher power.
You may need to even take medication for your own health, sometimes we may get so depressed we may have a fleeting negative unhealthy way to deal with it seek help.
21 million people suffer from depression in this country alone. Not to minimize your depression it can get worse if you don't seek help.
Best of luck to you get better

Believe me, it is negative thoughts that create negative emotions. If you continually dwell on things that upset you, you will definitely become depressed. It is our thoughts, be they happy or sad ones, that create our emotions. The best way to remain happy is to think only happy thoughts. If you find yourself dwelling on something that causes emotional pain, block it out as quickly as you can by switching to something happier to think about. I changed my life round completely practising this method.

Our thoughts create feelings. There IS something on your mind. If you don't want to talk to someone, try journalling when you are sad. You might be surprised to read what you write. The best way to get out of sadness or fear is with gratitude. Think of all the great things in your life. You may also want to strengthen your spiritual connection. It helps to know there is a plan, a bigger picture. Good luck--you deserve joy!
