Will Depression sabotage my love life forever? |
I've dealt with depression and self-esteem problems for years. I've seen several therapists, and although I've made progress, I've never been able to completely shake feelings of inadequacy in my relationships. My lack of confidence has destroyed relationships with amazing women that I wish I could have married. I'm 30 now, and fearing I'll never escape this pattern of self-sabotage. I think the number one thing you really need to do is find the hope you lost. Your depression and self-esteem problems are likely never going to go away completely, but that doesn't mean you're destined for a sabotaged love life. Fearing feelings is what sabotages your love life. HUGE HUGS!!! |
