Almost everyone at one time or another experiences a period of sadness. Most people get over it with a little time. But for some people, the sadness continues. If you are caught in a prolonged period of sadness, you may recognize one or more of the signs that often accompany depression: a growing distrust of God, resentment of others, difficulty making decisions, guilt, inactivity, sleeplessness or oversleeping, not eating or overeating, doubting, complaining, worrying, and hopelessness, as though you're in an inescapable pit. Thankfully, as desperate as everything may look, there are real reasons for hope. God loves you. And He wants to fill you with joy, peace, fulfillment and so much more.

The Bible says that Jesus came that we "might have life, and might have it abundantly" (John 10:10, NAS). Certainly, depression is not abundant life. But you can be assured, God wants you to find His peace and joy. He will help you because you are very, very important to Him.

Fighting depression
Step1
Get out of the house and get moving. Depression can often be caused or worsened by not getting enough physical exercise. Plan to spend time walking every day. Also consider riding a bike or joining a gym. Aim for 30 minutes of physical exercise 4 to 5 times a week. Exercise has been clinically proven to increase production of seratonin, a chemical in the brain that creates a sense of satisfaction and happiness.
Step2
Try taking an herbal supplement. St John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum) is available at many drug stores over the counter and is fairly inexpensive. It has been clinically proven to treat mild forms of depression effectively. It may take up to 8 weeks to feel results. St John's Wort is taken orally once per day.
Step3
Spend some time in the sun. Seasonal depression during the winter has been linked to lack of sunlight. There are lamps available for a modest cost at hardware stores that are about 5 times brighter than an office light. These lamps can simulate the sun's bright light during the winter. This type of treatment is known as phototherapy.
Step4
Speak with your friends and family about how you are feeling. Loneliness is one of the symptoms of depression. While it may be difficult to open up your feelings at first, it gets easier the more that you talk about it. Therapists will help you discover the root of your depression so you can make natural adjustments to your lifestyle.
Step5
Change your diet. Depression has been linked to vitamin deficiencies. Vitamin C, as well as vitamins B1, B6 and B12 are important for the body to naturally treat depression. Consider taking vitamin supplements, which can be inexpensive, or possibly changing your diet to include more vitamin-rich vegetables and fruits.

Relora庐 Max is a natural stress management ingredient that helps control stress-related eating and has the added value of being non-sedating. In central nervous system receptor binding assays the plant extracts in Relora庐 binds to several important targets associated with stress. It does not bind to the benzodiazepine receptors that would cause sedation, yet has the relaxing qualities

that have been demonstrated in both animal and human studies. In addition, it normalizes hormone levels associated with stress-induced weight gain and eating behavior. Stress has been shown to play a significant role in a variety of conditions

Perhaps you should follow this strategies:
Step 1: Ensure your emotion is controlled daily. Don't over reacted, stay calm and don't get depress and angry easily
Step 2: Think before your action. Don't repeat your past experience on yourselve
Step 3: Be confident to yourselves. Remember everyone is the winner. "Only One sperms out of millions fertilize a eggs"
Step 4: Get a group of close friends to share your experience and get some activities that would occupied your time
Good Luck.

I'm in this same situation and JUST posted a question almost exactly like this one. I just don't get it either

sometimes depression can appear with no reason at all, usually in those cases it will be a chemical imbalance so only pills, or extra effort to counter the chemical imbalance will help, i am no expert on the chemicals involved however so i cant help there. several things to try, if ur sleeping pattern is disrupted (not regular) or if your not getting enough sleep try changing it. diet can have an effect so make sure you eating enough food. exercise just generally makes u feel good.
i cant tell you why your depresed im not you, if there is a reason you already know it, even if you dont realise it. if you ever want to talk please feel free to email me via my profile. good luck
