Depression?breakdowns?

I am 14 years old and
okay before i say anything don't take it like im some stupid teenager with hormones and with stupid drama.
i'm completely diefferent and way more intellectual.

okay
so
i've been going through some stress at home and at school and with people....
okay everyone DOES undergo stress yes i know, but see i think somethinngs wrong
like depression or something

im always tired
and i'm not that hungry ever so i don't eat much.

today in class i was getting the feeling of crying for so many things going through my life and i started biting my self and getting twitchy.and i have to admit i sort of had some suicidal thoughts

would it be serious?

or do i just need to talk to someone like a guidence counseler

would it be bad if i ignored this???

oh by the way im a GIRL...although its ok for those of you who called me a guy....because i have no picture.

Talk to your Mom about seeing psychologist. It could be just normal hormonal changes or it could be something more serious like bipolar disorder or panic attacks, depending on how often it happens and to what degree. You can't handle them on your own. No, don't ignore it...if its other than hormonal, you'll probably need medication to help you. Good luck.

you are 100% normal and if anyone tells you different, THEY are the ones that dont have a clue. You could have a chemical imbalance in your brain that is causing these feelings! That can be controlled easily by medication. Talk with your mom or dad or gaurdian about seeing a Dr. If they wont help you, talk to a school counselor and DONT be afraid to do it, im serious. You will be fine

You have a case of clinical depression and need to seek treatment. Talk to your parents and get to a mental health practitioner! Life was meant to be enjoyed, not dragged through in a sad daze. We have better and better mental health treatments and practitioners every years. Take advantage of it. Take care of yourself.

It would be good to talk with the school counselor or someone. I waited til my early twenties to get help and I wish I'd done it sooner.
Life doesn't get any easier, but you as you get older, you do learn better ways to deal with it.
Talk to a trusted adult, now.
Good luck!

i would not ignore it.
fatigue and lack of apetite is consistant with depression.
as for the biting and the twitches.. id talk to a counselor, but you should contact a psychiatrist so they can prescribe medication.

talk to some one very bad if ignored

it wont go away without help

Please talk to a therapist or psychologist about this. It is sad so many young people today feel these types of emotions.

You definitely should talk with a counselor if you have thought of suicide. Sometimes holding things in can make them seem way bigger than they actually are. Just having someone to talk with and a way to let out the WORDS will make you feel much better...

Don't underestimate the power of HORMONES.... they affect all of us and pretty much drive the human species! No matter how smart you are, hormones affect you.

It does sound like you might be suffering from depression. Don't let anyone think you are a freak because of this. Over 20 million people in the US alone have depression.... probably many more because that's only the ones who have been to a doctor and have been diagnosed.

You don't have to hold all of this inside. You are smart and taking this first step toward getting help is proof. Please talk to someone at your school because it would be a shame if you left us.
