Depression question... bipolar/manic? |
When i feel really happy and get really hyper and excited about things...about 2-3 hours later, my mood just plunges and i'm left feeling miserable, moody and paranoid, sometimes its really severe.Now i'm always really weary of getting really happy because i know that it's only a matter of time before i suddenly get really depressed. It is a symptom of bipolar. A few strategies you can do: maybe, though manic/depressive moods usually last much longer than a few hours. people are always so quick to think that people with mood swings have bipolar, but that is not the case. there could be many medical reasons for your mood swings. it doesn't sound like bipolar to me. go see a doctor to make sure. the only time your moods will swing that badly in one day is if you are a rapid cycler, which is a very advanced stage of bipolar 1. It could possibly be bipolar. But only a doctor could really give you that answer. Go see a psychiatrist or psychologist. It can be... or just depression maybe. Get help... It might, but it might not. |
