Can stress or depression cause irregular heartbeats? |
im seeing my doctor tomorrow Stress can cause practically any ailment, it's interesting like that. If you are under stress, your body is releasing a number of chemicals into your bloodstream, such as adrenaline to respond to the stress, and these chemicals directly affect your heartrate. If you are going to the doctor tomorrow, I wouldn't worry too much about it right now (more stress!), instead, I would do whatever I could to calm down, and push away anything making you stressed out. By reducing your stress, you'll reduce the strain on your body's systems, and if you're having a reaction in your heart, you're in a bad situation. Go relax and get your heartrate calm, and see your doctor tomorrow. I think you need to not drink coffee or anything that has caffeine, avoid salty foods and try very hard to relax. I would try a hot shower. A warm bath. Get a relaxing massage. Sit and watch a funny movie or any good movie (not horror or terribly violent) and it should take your mind off of what's stressing you. Yes.They are called anxiety attacks. Do you sometimes feel like your heart races and pounds hard for a few seconds and goes back to normal. This is common in an anxiety attack. Funny thing is, the more you worry about it the worse it gets because it causes further anxiety. (funny but cruel huh?) Relax and let your doctor handle this. It is common and controllable. Breathing can help too. Try breathing with your belly a few times each day, or whenever you feel your heart racing. Soon enough, it'll become natural to do that when you're stressed. It helps me a lot. yes stress and depression can cause irregular heart beats i knw i hve been down tht road but let your doctor knw how u feel when this happens good luck Yep... it can also cause chest pain Stress can.
