Is there any self treatment for depression without taking any medication??

Get therapy, just don't take the drugs.

Well it kinda depends on how survere your depression actually is. The best way is to do plenty of walking so if you have a dog walk it extra longer, doggy will appreciate it and it will provide a lift in your feelings. Stick to a really healthy diet cut out all soda's. Go to the gym at least once or twice a week. Keep busy with hobbies but have some time to watch something funny on tv. Try that.

Proper Diet
Proper sleep
Proper exercise

will give you the best chance at fighting of depression without meds....but it might not be enough.

If you can motivate yourself yo take care of those 3 items for a couple weeks, I bet you start to feel better.

aren't some depressions caused by lack of sunlight? (my god, that means the whole of the UK should be depressed at the moment during this British "summer"!!). try one of those lightboxes that they recommend for this type of thing

Exercise regularly to raise your serotonin levels.
