Is it true that exercise can cure depression and if so...?


how much or how soon do you feel results?

its not a cure... but it certainly helps lessen symptoms. Its recommended at least 25minutes 3 times a week. This means a nice walk, or exercise video, cycling... something to get your heart rate up.

Also, sunlight is one of those things suggested to help lessen symptoms. So if you can do your exercise outside... double duty!

you'll feel a mild rush of pure happiness and relaxation after a good workout. this happens after every workout. endorphins.

and generally with a healthier and stronger body it just increases quality of life compared to inactive people.
