What is difference between depression and stress?

Depression is when you expected better. Stress is what you knew the pressures would be. In love we can expect unreal things and get depressed.

stress will go away after the event has happened. eg-stress about an exam, will disappear once the exam is over.
depression wont disappear just as easily. even once the event is over,the depression may continue. its roots are usually a lot deeper, and is harder to overcome.

depression was resolved by Roosevelt with his New Deal plan
and stress is experienced when you have to write an essay in classs on depression and you forgot to study the other night

Depression is a specific condition.
Stress is very broad, general, and caused by a myriad of stimuli (happiness, sadness, fear, confusion, fatigue, illness, etc.).

Depression is a state of mind of giving up, stress is a normal part of life, can be positive or negative, a life without any kind of stress would drive you crazy from boredom, think about it.

well depression in bad and stress is not that bad at all.
depression can get you sick and take medication such
depression pills, stress all you have to do is exersice sleep well,eat well and relax.
