What are the different types of depression and what are they?

Dythymia - mild, often chronic depression

Situational Depression - serious depression started by a situation, and in part, often can be related to coping skills

Major Depression - severe depression with no known cause, single instance or chronic

Recurring Depression - severe depression that recurs

Atypical Depression - leaden parallysis, sleep too much, thick headed, often associated with bipolar disorder
