How do i get my parents to get me help with my depression?

ive read the thing about telling someone at school about it so that my parents have to help, but i know if i do that my parents will be completly angry with me. Im tired of feeling this way ALL THE TIME and i want to get better but im scared of what will happen if i ask for help. what do i do??

please see your counselor at school TOMORROW they are required by law to have you seen by the schools Phycologist,
to be evaluated.Your parents will have to deal with it, I almost lost my own daughter because she was afraid to come to me and we had an open door policy. She was diagnosed with
bi-polar disorder.Don't be afraid to speak to your parents if
you don't, they will never be able to help you when you need it the most.

If your parents will only get mad, then I think that you should tell someone. A friend, another family member, teacher, councilor, etc. Your parents need a wake up call. If your not happy and you need help, they should give it to you. Depression is not something you should go through by yourself.

Yea, you should tell someone at school about it, otherwise, your parents will either get angry or be supportive and not do anything about it. I got both. I told my mom a month ago and I have yet to receive anything from anybody. Tell someone at school so you get help.

talk to another member of the family (adult) that you trust and feel comfortable with, and explain to them everything. Then leave it to that person to talk to your parents. Depression is no joke..

What is more important to you? Maybe your parents need to get angry inorder to take notice. Doing nothing will only make it worse. Take of yourself let them deal with their own anger.
